Mark was Project Director for the Macquarie Bank building King Street Wharf which achieved practical completion 2009.  Involvement includes initial and detailed design, design competition management, negotiation of pre-commitment, negotiation of construction contract, design team management, approvals process, day-to-day management of client issues and construction contractor, chairing PCG meetings, contract management etc.

The Macquarie Bank building is an iconic 33,500m2 net lettable area A-grade building fully pre-committed to Macquarie Bank. The building includes five levels of basement comprising tenant parking and loading dock, 55 bay coach parking facility and public carpark.  The building achieved a 6 Green Star rating and was one of Australia’s first to achieve this.

The building has won many awards and achieved international acclaim for its unique design both externally and internally.  Was recently voted as one of the top ten international bank buildings in the world.  Project Value AUD$310 million.
